Building a Sisterhood Through Collective Healing is a culturally specific wellness program created for women of color to connect, reflect, learn, and strengthen well-being in community.
Women of color often carry responsibilities across their families, workplaces, and communities while having limited opportunities to focus on their own needs. The program creates an affirming space where participants can pause, build relationships, explore the interconnected areas of wellness, and identify realistic ways to care for themselves.
Building a Sisterhood Through Collective Healing is grounded in the belief that when a woman has the space and support to heal and strengthen her wellness, that impact reaches far beyond one person. Women touch every part of community life. They may be parents, spouses or partners, relatives, friends, employees, business owners, caregivers, neighbors, organizers, and community leaders. Supporting their wellness can strengthen families, workplaces, neighborhoods, organizations, and entire communities.
